It's interesting to watch Agassi argue over the criteria for claiming the "GOAT" title. Though he recognises that for now Fed is the greatest, he believes that should Nadal win the USO once, he would overtake Fed as the greatest player claiming that more (GSs) is not necessarily better.

That gives some good information on how he sees himself compared with Pete. It seems the "big hole" he talks about is clearly Pete's (FO) in that case.
Frankly I can't see how Nadal would overtake Fed even if he were to win the USO. That would still be 16 to 9, with the number of weeks at nber 1 not close for comparison.

I found Agassi's judgement very dubious and most probably influenced by his rivalry with Sampras.

Obviously, he did not like tennis nor its "ranking system"!
